Baguio, Benguet power rates drop

BAGUIO CITY: The Benguet Electric Cooperative (Beneco) has maintained the cheap power rates it has been charging its member-consumer-owners (MCOs) following its P0.0619 per kilowatt-hour decrease that will be reflected in its October billing cycle.

The Beneco general manager attributed the latest drop to the decision of the Energy Regulatory Commission on the feed-in tariff–allowance (FIT-ALL) rate application of the National Transmission Corp.
