Malolos, South Korea ink agri, fisheries deal

MALOLOS: The city government of Malolos and the Yesan Gun of Chungcheongnam-Do province in South Korea signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and friendship through the exchange and development of the agriculture and fishery sectors of both parties.

Malolos Mayor Christian Natividad told The Manila Times that they agreed to send the first batch of 300 seasonal workers, all Malolenyos, to Yesan County in South Korea before the end of 2022 in December.

Natividad said that both parties shall promote diverse exchange and cooperative projects subject to improve agricultural and fishery productivity and competitiveness.
