BAGUIO CITY: Fifty-six senior citizens shall serve the Summer Capital through various local government offices today, October 17, while regional offices had their Senior Citizen Officials for a Day (Scofad) on Monday, October 10, as part of the city’s Elderly Month celebration.
Orientations on their functions were conducted earlier by the respective offices where they are assigned, with oath-taking on the day of service.
The 56-strong Scofad is headed by retired city government employee Epifania Tamiao replacing Rep. Mark Go, with Alexander Wasian unseating Mayor Benjamin Magalong and Luz Abella taking over Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan’s seat.
